This month a launch event for the new Perkins® 5000 Series took place in Perkins Stafford. Together with customers from Germany, Italy and Poland, we were on site to get to know the new engine series, which offers reliable electrical power that is ready to be used immediately.
The all-new Perkins® 5000 Series is a fully electronic range of inline six and eight cylinder and V12 and V16 cylinder engines, engineered specifically for the power generation market to supply critical applications such as data centres and hospitals with dependable prime or standby power, where downtime isn’t an option. Besides lots of information about the new engine series, there were great insights into the facilities at Perkins Stafford. At the product walkaround, the new engines and their components could be viewed in detail. Another highlight of the event was the visit to the historic Warwick Castle. The 1,100 year old castle is one of Britain’s finest medieval fortresses and surrounded by beautiful nature, definitely worth a visit.
