Perkins launch­es next gen­er­a­tion 2600 Series engine

One engine. End­less pos­si­bil­i­ties. The inno­v­a­tive Perkins 2600 Series engines fit up to 515 kW/690 hp into a 13-litre foot­print – deliv­er­ing more pow­er and per­for­mance, while tak­ing up less space. Its max­imised pow­er den­si­ty and proven dura­bil­i­ty make it a sin­gle solu­tion capa­ble of replac­ing larg­er and heav­ier 15- and sin­gle tur­bo 18-litre engines across your fleet.

The new engine series fit to pow­er hard­work­ing appli­ca­tions around the world. It is an ide­al choice for a broad range of off-high­way appli­ca­tions, from agri­cul­tur­al machin­ery like trac­tors and har­vesters, to con­struc­tion equip­ment such as exca­va­tors and doz­ers, to mate­r­i­al han­dling equip­ment as well as indus­tri­al pumps and com­pres­sors. The engines are designed for cur­rent and future emis­sions leg­is­la­tion and are com­pat­i­ble with var­i­ous renew­able gas and liq­uid fuels such as B20 bio­fu­els and HVO, help­ing to reduce life cycle CO₂ emissions.
