Sometimes engines are not economically repairable or the time factor, which is becoming more and more important today, does not allow a repair. In order to provide a quick solution in such cases, BU Power Systems offers you a permanent availability of over 200 Perkins exchange engines.
To maintain our high quality standards, all exchange engines as well as long engines are thoroughly tested on our engine test bench before delivery. Subsequently, the repaired engines are painted and equipped with the BU Power Systems engine service passport (service booklet).

Complete engine
BU Power Systems also offers new exchange engines as a complete solution for selected models, including a 12-month warranty. Compared to a repair, this complete solution helps you minimize downtime and avoid any related costs.
Long engines of the 100 / 400 series
As a cost-effective alternative to a complete exchange engine, Long engines are built by Perkins to provide our customers with flexibility and added value. The long engines are equipped with a new injection system (injection pump and injection nozzles) and, if necessary, turbo charger. You simply mount the attachments of your previous engine to the Perkins Long engine and get your machine up and running again in no time. You also benefit from comprehensive warranties and compliance with emissions standards.
Short / long blocks and repaired short / long blocks
Our short / long blocks are a cost-effective repair option with minimal downtime and they provide a fast, reliable solution in the event of major damage to your Perkins engine.
