Perkins® Syn­cro Event

With an exclu­sive cus­tomer event, BU Pow­er Sys­tems GmbH & Co. KG invit­ed select­ed cus­tomers to the prod­uct pre­sen­ta­tion of the new Perkins^® Syn­cro on June 1 at its head­quar­ters in Ibben­büren, North Rhine-West­phalia. In the white work­shop, the new, Stage V‑capable engine gen­er­a­tion was pre­sent­ed in detail by Peter Wag­n­er, Sales Man­ag­er of BU Pow­er Sys­tems. In addi­tion to this, tech­ni­cal inte­gra­tion work­shops, appli­ca­tion man­age­ment and added-val­ue com­po­nents were also top­ics that were shown. For infor­ma­tion on cool­ing sys­tems, a rep­re­sen­ta­tive of Hor­ton, who spoke about low-noise and ener­gy-effi­cient solu­tions, was invit­ed as an exter­nal speak­er. Fur­ther­more, the event was accom­pa­nied by a team of experts from the engine man­u­fac­tur­er Perkins. In a stim­u­lat­ing podi­um dis­cus­sion with appli­ca­tion and project engi­neers of both BU Pow­er Sys­tems and Perkins, var­i­ous ques­tions con­cern­ing the new 2.8 and 3.6 liter engines were dis­cussed. Final­ly, there was a BBQ with Robert Mey­er, BBQ Vice World Cham­pi­on.
