Enhanced per­for­mance and ver­sa­til­i­ty: BU Pow­er Sys­tems and Messersì

Messer­sì S.p.A. is a renowned Ital­ian man­u­fac­tur­er of con­struc­tion machin­ery that has been at the fore­front of inno­va­tion and qual­i­ty for over 60 years. Spe­cial­is­ing in the man­u­fac­ture of tracked trans­porters, mini exca­va­tors and skid steer load­ers, Messer­sì is com­mit­ted to sup­ply­ing machines that meet the high­est stan­dards of per­for­mance and reliability.

Messer­sì was look­ing for a robust and effi­cient dri­ve solu­tion for its TC550d tracked trans­porter to improve the per­for­mance of its HEAVY LINE series. The TC550d is char­ac­terised by a 180° swiv­el­ling load­ing plat­form, which is dri­ven by a swiv­el motor and con­trolled by a joystick.

This mod­el is designed for the most demand­ing appli­ca­tions in dif­fi­cult ter­rain and requires an engine that offers both per­for­mance and dura­bil­i­ty. The unique func­tion­al­i­ty of Messer­sì’s tracked trans­porter increas­es oper­a­tional flex­i­bil­i­ty and enables pre­cise mate­r­i­al place­ment and effi­cient unload­ing in con­fined spaces.

Opti­mised pow­er and effi­cien­cy with the Perkins^® 904J-E36TA

To meet these require­ments, Messer­sì has worked with BU Pow­er Sys­tems to inte­grate the Perkins^® 904J-E36TA engine into the TC550d mod­el. This 3.6‑litre, four-cylin­der engine with an out­put of 74.5 kW meets EU Stage V emis­sion stan­dards and deliv­ers a reli­able and pow­er­ful performance.
