Col­lab­o­ra­tion Pow­er: BU Pow­er Sys­tems and Egholm – Park Ranger 2150

BU Pow­er Sys­tems offers cus­tomised solu­tions all around the engine. With Perkins diesel and gas engines and pow­er range from 4 to 2000 kW, we are part­ner for a wide range of indus­tries. Perkins engines are also used in the field of park and grounds main­te­nance: Our cus­tomer Egholm uses the 403J-11 Perkins diesel engine for its Park Ranger 2150. The mul­ti­func­tion­al machine is used for all types of out­door main­te­nance and there­fore requires a high degree of manoeu­vra­bil­i­ty. Our com­pact engine is there­fore par­tic­u­lar­ly well suited.

Also, thanks to the high pow­er of the engine, it meets the spe­cif­ic require­ments of the appli­ca­tion. The con­ver­sion from Stage IIIB to Stage V and equip­ment with a new hydro­stat have sig­nif­i­cant­ly increased ener­gy effi­cien­cy. With the same pow­er, the Park Ranger 2150 now needs about 600 few­er rev­o­lu­tions and meets the most strin­gent emis­sion stan­dard for diesel engines. Pos­i­tive side effect: The reduced num­ber of rev­o­lu­tions results in less vibra­tion and less noise, as well as low­er fuel consumption.
