BU Power Systems is expanding its European network and opening a new location in Serbia. With the establishment of BU Power Systems d.o.o. in Belgrade, the company is strengthening its presence in South-Eastern Europe and further developing its sales and after-sales service activities for Perkins diesel and gas engines.
As an official Perkins distributor, BU Power Systems is responsible for the distribution and after-sales service of Perkins engines in numerous European markets. Until now, the Serbian market had been served via the Slovenian subsidiary. With the opening of its own location, customer support will now be provided directly on site.
Strengthening customer proximity and service quality
With its local presence in Serbia, BU Power Systems creates the basis for short response times, direct contacts and efficient technical support. Customers benefit from professional product consultancy, comprehensive spare parts services and qualified service technicians with in-depth expertise in diesel and gas engines.
The Belgrade location will assume both sales and service responsibilities and is fully integrated into the European corporate structure. This ensures that customers in Serbia have access to the entire technical expertise, logistics competence and service infrastructure of the group.
Strategic expansion in South-Eastern Europe
With the establishment of BU Power Systems d.o.o., the company consistently continues its growth strategy in Europe. The expansion of its regional presence strengthens its market position in South-Eastern Europe and underlines its commitment to providing consistently high service quality across all European markets.
“I am pleased that we are now able to support our Serbian customers directly on site,” says Miro Mikič, Managing Director responsible for Serbia and Slovenia. “Serbia is an important economic location in Eastern Europe. As one of the largest Perkins distributors worldwide, BU Power Systems is committed to delivering optimal service performance and to further professionalising and expanding its business activities. The Serbian subsidiary is part of our Europe-wide group of companies while operating as an independently registered entity.”
